(TGA) - Travel - So my wife and I would like to spend some time in Slovenia this July (are only time to get on vacation). We have about 10-14 days. We have been to Croatia and Hungry, but wonder if 10 days is too much for Slovenia? We like to hike, sample the wines there, and enjoy the nature. Any suggestions for a good itinerary? We figure we would fly into the capital and rent a car and divide our time from hikes, wine, and just enjoying what it has to offer? I thought if it was 14 days we could drive up to Prague and fly out there but don't know if that is too ambitious.

You can spend:
- a night or two in Ljubljana
- two or three nights at Piran or Portorož (you can also spend some more days at the Croatian coast - Umag or Poreč. The sea in Croatia is much better than in Slovenia but our towns are much nicer.)
- three to five nights at Bled, Bohinj or Bovec (hiking + rafting)
- two or three nights at Ptuj (wine+spas)
It takes about 7 hours from Ljubljana to Prague (about 710 kms of good roads):
