(TGA) - Travel - This time my travels take me to , and - all in northeastern Germany. Then its off to in Estonia, in Finland, in Russia, and finally in Denmark.
Im traveling with my friend Chris Storm from Port Orford. Like me, she is a quilter. Thats how we know each other. She casually mentioned once that if I were traveling to Paris sometime, she would like to go also. Well, we arent going to Paris - this time - but I believe the trip we have planned will be just as fun.
So - - - here we come!
Chris and I began planning this trip last year in June - its September now and we are on our way.
Its kind of a fluke that were traveling together - just one of those spontaneous adventures.
Tonight we flew to and tomorrow we leave for and points beyond. We have our trip pretty well planned out so we are ready to begin.
Its a short flight from North Bend and we are staying the night in Portland. Our Lufthansa flight leaves tomorrow at 1:00. This will be one of the last direct flights from to Frankfurt - Lufthansa is discontinuing its service from Portland in a couple of weeks.
Ive got Skype set up so I can call Ruby while Im gone. Thats very exciting.
