(TGA) - Hello all...couple of questions:

How far is Algeciras from Gibraltar?

Is there a regular bus service from Algeciras train station that goes to Gibraltar?

Gibraltar to Algeciras

Neither La Linea nor Gibraltar have a rail station. The only option is to get a bus from La Linea to Algeciras and vice versa.

You will have to cross through the Gibraltar border into Spain; going through the Spanish

customs is a mere formality and causes no bother.

Once in Spain the bus station is a 10 minute or so walk, or you can get a cab from the

Spanish side of the border if you have luggage.

It's a bit grubby in La Linea so if walking, stick to the McDonalds side of the road on your approach to the bus station.

The bus departs at 30 minute intervals from early morning to late evening and is inexpensive at about €2.00.

I can send you a map showing Gibraltar in relation to Algeciras but the bus journey takes about 30 minutes to get there.

Hello. Seems like the link you provided does indeed show a schedule of buses from Algeciras, however La Linea isn't on there? Any comments?

Google Portillo Buses and you'll get the timetable for buses from La Linea to Algeciras

I found the website, but even for the La Linea schedule, there are no departures listed for Algeciras, and vice versa.
