(TGA) - I will be travelling to Moldova via Bucharest in less than 2 months. I have read that ATM's in Moldova are not reliable and there have been lots of problems with fraud/theft. However, I do not want to carry a lot of cash on me either. Are there banks in Chisinau that have reliable, safe ATM's? As of now, I plan on withdrawing enough money from inside a Romanian bank before leaving for Moldova. I know this will all be anecdotal information but any info/opinions on safety, fraud, etc would be appreciated. What would you do?
