(TGA) - Hi, we are planning a travel to California. Our group:
My mother - 80 years old ( needs help to walk)
My husband and I
Our daughters 14 and 11 years old
My sister in law and daughters 16 and 14 years old
Our nice 16 years old
We are planning to go to San Francisco, five or six nights, then to drive to LA by the coast, one or two nights stop and five or six nights in LA.
In SF we are not planning to rent a car but to go to LA we'll need it, but we'll be nine!!!
Please we need suggestions.

What kind of suggestions do you want? With so many teenage girls, I think you need lots of chocolate (for you & your husband, not for them!)
Vehicle rental? You'll probably need a 12 passenger van.

Is it necessary a special driver license for a van? Is there a kind of service to drive us ? Where we must go (considering the teenagers?

Ask the teenagers to do some research for this trip! Let them figure out what they want to do. Or you can give them some ideas, then let them research the choices to make final decisions. For example, if they like theme parks, have them research Magic Mountain, Disneyland, California Adventure, and Knotts Berry Farm.
At the top of each destination forum page, there are links on the left and the right that can give you some general information about each destination. Luckily you've chosen two of the destinations with fabulous "Top Questions About..." in the upper right. Both San Francisco and Los Angeles experts have created some good general information for travelers. Read those, and read the TA links on the left ~ Tourism and Things to Do are good ones.
If you don't want to drive, you might look at taking an internal flight. You'd miss beautiful Hwy 1 and the coast, but you'd be able to get to your next destination without much fuss.
