(TGA) - How difficult is it to rent a car in Krakow for travel into Slovakia? I know there shouldn't be a problem crossing into Slovakia at the border, but are the major car rental agencies in Krakow at the aiport going to say travel into Slovakia is prohibited under the car rental terms? I just want to be 100% safe before I start to book my possible car rental. Thanks.

You'll be ok - if anything, the prohibition will be the other way as the roads are far more dangerous in Poland :) I have hired cars in Krakow before and brought them to Slovakia no problem.
As it is Schengen there aren't any border checks so don't worry about that, but just be aware that the road signs in Poland do not say Slovakia anywhere, so follow the signs to Bukowina Tatrzańska after Nowy Targ then to Lysa Polana. Be careful of the bends in the road, and it will take you about 4 hours with a couple of breaks to get to Poprad. Make sure you purchase a highway sticker for Slovakia if you are going to be driving on a highway - the fines are high and on the spot, and the police are fond of picking on Polish cars ...
