(TGA) - My husband and I are traveling to HH for the first time and staying at the Carolina Beach Club condominiums. I was wondering if anyone might have stayed there and if he/she could pass on any information regarding the lodging and places in the area to shop and eat?
Also, we are going in mid February through mid March and would like some information about the weather and traffic.

I know of no such condo. the closest could be the Hilton Head beach Club which is part of the Tanglewood development.
Though located in the South forest Beach area, it is in reality several blocks from the beach.

Interesting, it is supposed to be a five story building overlooking the ocean. Our condo is on the 5th floor. The address is 39 S. Forest Beach Dr. if that helps?

I have never stayed at the Carolina Beach Club. You are about a 1/2 mile from Coligny which has many shops and restaurants. The Market Street Cafe is really good...small so sometimes you might have to wait to be seated but maybe not the time of year you will be there. Though pricey, Steamers is good for lunch, great place to watch sports, have a drink and relax. You are also close to Sea Pines which has a few locations to shop and eat. South Beach Marina, Harbourtown and Sea Pines Center all have little shops and restaurants. We like Truffles Cafe in SPC and The Wreck of the Salty Dog in South Beach.

Thank you so much for this info, we will surely try these restaurants as we love to eat out (unfortunately). So very much looking forward to our trip. I am just hoping the weather will improve soon and become more seasonable.

We are staying in Shipyard at Southwind and the Carolina Club is right next door-they have cottages and townhouses and it is a short walk or bike ride to the beach. Don't know if this is the Carolina Club you have booked. They look nice.

Thanks for the info, I think that is a different beach club. The location to this is 39 So. Forest Beach Dr. I have checked on line and Carolina Club comes up with a different address, I can only assume the Beach Club is different. I hope it is equally as nice as the one you mention. Pictures look nice but I will be very upset if we find it different than the pictures.
