(TGA) - Just a quick note about how much we enjoyed Christmas week in Blue Ridge. We rented from First Class Cabins of Blue Ridge (formerly Premier Cabins of North Georgia, if I'm not mistaken), and could not have had a better experience from customer service to cabin condition. We stayed at Heavenly Hideaway, and it was lovely - well maintained and well stocked. In fact, I was surprised at how well stocked it was - paper products, dishwashing detergent, coffee filters, sugar, salt & pepper, etc. I don't know if these items are routinely provided or if others, like us, had stopped at Food Lion before going to the cabin, bought items you'd normally need and then found them already at the cabin once they arrived. I ended up leaving unopened items like coffee filters to replace the ones we used.
The cabin itself (Heavenly Hideaway) was in excellent shape. In fact, it was so comfortable we rarely left it to check out the lovely area. We enjoyed downtown Blue Ridge and found the merchants friendly and informative. Once we mentioned it was our first visit and we were thinking about moving to the area, they warned us that three visits and you're hooked. I guess we'll find out because we're definitely going back. I need more hot apple cider from Mercier's, and....a cople of fried pies wouldn't be bad either. ;)
