(TGA) - I am looking at booking a condo in Columbia Heights. It says it is one Block from the metro. Is this a good location for a 7 night stay for a family with grama and grampa?

What it says and what reality is can be different. It would be good to have an exact address. With that you can use Google Maps Streetview to see what the block looks like.
Columbia Heights is a neighborhood that is well on its way to being a great urban neighborhood in DC. It might still be a bit gritty for someone not used to city atmosphere. But it is busy, has restaurants and a Metro stop. It could be a fine place to stay for a week.

Thanks for your help. The address is 3222 13th Street NW. It does appear to be quite close to a metro stop. I guess about 4- 5 miles from most of the attractions.

I just looked at the Google Maps Streetview and it looks like a nice block. But I am not familiar with that specific place. It isn't too far to the Metro stop. Someone who lives up that way can give you more info than I can.
