(TGA) - Travel - We left this morning and headed towards Denmark. It was a relatively easy drive so we spent the morning seeing the sights of Denmark. Basically that consisted of a couple of nice beaches, Greens Pool and Lights Beach. We purchased some brunch from the local bakery and headed to the beach for a bite to eat. I never thought it possible, but Greens Pool would have to be on a very equal rating to Little Beach. The waters near the sandy shores were very calm as the waves were broken by the rocks surrounding the beach...it would have been a perfect destination to stay should the weather have been warmer.After our breif stop in Denmark, we headed towards Walpol where we did the Valley of the Giants tree top walk. The highest peak was 40m high. It was very similar to the one we did in Tasmania when we were there nearly 3 years ago.After our tree climb, we still had a bit in us and the kids were due for a sleep, so we continued on towards
. We ended up staying at Shannon National Park which was so awesome. When we arrived Mark, myself and the boys did a quick set up and then went off to find some wood for our open fire. The kids just loved walking through the National Park picking up sticks, and pine cones for the fire. It was an absolute blast. Mark the he-man, found two HUGE logs which werejust perfect for the fire.We cooked dinner outside (a nice pasta bolognase) and ate it in front of the open fire. Mark and I then put the kids to bed and sat outside and drank our bottle of wine which we purchased from the Montgomery Hill Winery in .Life doesnt get much beter than this
