(TGA) - My wife and I will be in Germany April 24 - May 9.
This will be our first trip to Germany. We'll be in Munich the first 10 days, the last four in Berlin. We'll have a car. Two days for Munich? What else in this part of Germany? Thanks.

I wouldn't spend 10 nights in Munich if you only want to spend two days there.
Did you mean Bavaria?
Not sure what your interests are. Here are some Bavarian possibilities on the way north to Berlin:
Regensburg
Rothenburg
Bamberg
Nuremberg
Würzburg
Near Munich:
Dachau
Andechs Monastery
South of Munich:
Garmisch and Mittenwald
Berchtesgaden
Do some searches on these places to see if they might interest you, then come back with more specific questions.

As you have a car then consider driving to Prague. We drive every year for the christmas markets. It is under 4 hours drive. Good selection of good hotels. If you go make sure that the hotel has parking.
Austria is very close. You can easily drive to Salzburg or if you wish can use the bayern ticket which is valid on all regional trains in bavaria but also includes Salzburg

Garmisch is an easy drive. You can carry on past Garmisch and Mittenwald to Seefeld in Austria (did this as a day out recently over christmas)
If you want to be in the snow you can also get to the Stubai Glacier on the autobahn via Innsbruck in about 2 hours.

You could start in the south of Munich with the German Alpine Road

Than northbound following the Romantic Road

Munich is quite central in Bavaria. But with a car I would rather follow these routes and stay along there. Places like Berchtesgaden or Rothenburg ob der Tauber are definitely on the limits for a reasonable day trip.
For Munich itself and also for the trip to Berlin (e.g. from Bamberg) and in Berlin you won't need a car. It's easier and cheaper to get there around by public transport.

Thank you! Yes, I meant 10 days in Bavaria. I like art, architecture. Nice hikes if possible.

Thank you! I'll start my research following your recommendations. I'm afraid you'll hear from me again :-).

I think Bavaria has plenty to offer without relatively long drives to Praha; or indeed Austria. You may enjoy popping into Austria -eg Salzburg, Innsbruck but to make the country your destination would mean missing much of Bayern.
Certainly do Munich-car very unnecessary even for trip to Dachau etc. Maybe you could get over your flights with 2-3 nights in Munich before picking up your car?
Regensburg. Nuremberg, Garmisch, Roithenburg 0b d T, Bamberg all warrant an overnight at least, in my view.
So does Berchtesgaden, perhaps Fuessen,
