(TGA) - We are a family of four travelling ultimately to Southeast Alaska to visit friends. Our kids are 10 and 13 years old. We are planning to leave Livermore on Monday, June 21st and have to be in Bellingham Washington to catch the ferry on Friday, the 26th. Spending some time in old growth Redwoods is a priority, and not spending too many hours at a time in the car is preferred, though we will likely have to put in some long days in the car. We plan on camping, but will have fairly minimal camping gear. We would love to see some spectacular sights, avoid crowds, travel cheaply, and have fun. Wish we had longer to make the trip! Any ideas for us?
