(TGA) - Hi.
I am from Dublin and want to get to the Faroe Islands. What is the easiest way to get there? Obviously there are no flights from Dublin. So what would be the easiest? From Copenhagen?

Probably, but there are some through flights from London.

or with the ferry Norrøna from Scrabster.

There used to be flights from Aberdeen but they do not appear to be currently scheduled. For flights you'd probably need to route via Stansted or a Scandinavian hub such as Copenhagen.
An earlier post mentioned the ferry from Scrabster - there's a low cost surface option from Dublin for combined ferry and rail ticket to anywhere in UK for £27 single, £54 return. Apart from Dublin / Holyhead ferry reservation as a foot passenger no advance booking is necessary for this fare. You can travel from Dublin to Thurso for this price from where it's just a 2 mile bus or taxi ride to Scrabster. UK / Ireland surface travel: http://www.seat61.com/Ireland.htm
