(TGA) - Hi Everyone and the experts of Greece. Hope you all could help me in planning our trip to Greece in June. We are a couple with a 7 yrs old, and intend organise our Jun holiday vacation in Greece.

Have read through the forum, and am interested in the following islands:-

1) Rhodes (3nts)

2) Crete (3 Nts)

3) santorini (3 Nts)

4) Mykonos (3nts)

5)Athens (3nts)

Intend to fly from Athens to Rhodes, and to Crete. From Crete intend to go by ferry to Santorini, thereafter to Mykonos and Athens.Also pls adv good htls in central locations (not too expensive)

Is it a good plan or would the experts adv otherwise. For domestic flts to Rhodes and Crete, which airline is best suited, Have not booked anything yet, Waiting for your advises before planning the routes and flts.

Any help will be much appriciated

Too much! --- you are trying to pour a liter into a half-liter Bottle!! Remember it takes half a day minimum to get from 1 destination to another.

Skip Mykonos. Fly Aegean Air to Rhodes... you will have 3 nights but only 2 or 2.5 days. Then you fly Sky Express (takes half a day) to Heraklion Crete. Crete for FIVE days/nights. Take fast-ferry (half-a-day) to Santorini; 2.5 days/3 nights. FLY Aegean Air back to Athens ... a ferry will take u a full day -- 8 or 9 hours (or else try to get an overnight ferry at midnight - 5 am arrival at Piraeus so you can travel while you sleep). Then 3 nights Athens.

If you want advice on hotels, do not ask for "good" or "not too expensive." We cannot read your mind as to what you mean by this. You can get good advice from the many TA experts on this, IF you will please give your desired budget limit in Euros per night for a triple room ... bear in mind that Santorini & Athens are quite a bit more expensive than Crete and Rhodes for equivalent accommodations.

Thks traveljerjan, for your adv, looks like we are trying to do too much within 2 weeks, if you would recommend only 2 islands which we could visit, which could it be. We do not want to spend half the time travelling without enjoying the culture and historical aspect of the country.

Has for hotels we are l;ooking at the range of 80-115 Euro per nt. Hope you could help.
