(TGA) - I just returned from a great vacation in which my husband and I flew into St Louis, Mo and rented a car and drove around Missouri and Kansas for 2 weeks. The first week was spent in Kansas and the second Missouri making our way back to St. Louis. I took some great photos throughout the trip with my digital camera. When I got home they were all gone except for the last 2 days in St. Louis. I talked to the company who made the memory disk that I was using and they said that the disk was corrupted and the photos are gone.
I have always wanted to go to Ft. Leavenworth and I finally made it, but now I have no photos to remember it. I visited both Ft. Leavenworth and the old soldiers' home up at the VA Medical Center. I spent well over an hour there taking photos of different views of the old historic buildings at the old soldiers' home. At Ft. Leavenworth I took photos of the historic buildings around the fort, the old disiplinary barracks,Tom Custer's grave,views of the Missouri River,the cut in the hillside from the Oregon and Santa Fe Trails and the Command and General Staff College
I am a picture taking fanatic. I have photo albums filled with photos from all my trips. I was wondering if anyone out there would be willing to share some of their photos with me so that I can make an album of this trip? I would just be making a copy of the photo for my own personal photo album. I would appreciate any help. I feel for you!
A few years ago I lost my camera at the end of a very important day of photo taking. I miss the lost pictures more than the expensive lost camera.
