I don't know anyone who has done a Tuack Bridges tour, but my mother has done 3 Tauck tours and 1 was with my siblings. They are without a doubt first class all the way. They are made up of older people though. The hotels are first class, food is excellent, and the tours great. Many tours let you bypass the long lines and waits you would experience with other tours or on your own. They are, however, incredibly expensive. While I would have loved to take a Tauck Bridges tour with my 4 kids I could never have justified the expense. From my mother's experience with her tours to Australia/New Zealand, Italy's Amalfi Coast, and the Canadian Rockies I hope to be able to try a Tauck tour with my husband when the kids are done with college in a few years.

Thanks for the feeback. Your mom probably took a Tauck World Discovery, or one of their other adult oriented trips. Tauck Bridges is Tauck's family vacation division. I've taken trips with Adventures by Disney and from what I've read, Tauck Bridges and Adventures by Disney are very similar. I'm specifically looking for reviews of the Northern CA trip, since we are interested in taking it, and because it was new in 2009, so I haven't been able to find any feedback from anyone who has actually taken the trip. Any first (or second) hand feedback on Tauck Bridges in general is appreciated too. Thanks!
