(TGA) - I will traveling to DC with my husband and 2 children (4 and 7) in late June. I am looking for a clean, family friendly hotel in the DC area near a metro stop. I would like to stay in the District, but I am finding it difficult to find a place in the budget. Hoping to stay for under $200 a night. We like the Hilton and Marriott chains a lot because we have honors memberships for both of those chains, but would be willing to go elsewhere if the price and location were right--Would love something like a Residence Inn with a fridge and microwave in the room. Any suggestions would be great!!!

Have you priced out the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown? Rates seem to be cheapest on the hotel's own web site.
