(TGA) - Staying in NY from dec 27th- 29th. Trying to decide between the Millenium Boradyway or the W New York...any suggestions? Thanks

The rooms at The W have been more recently renovated, but they are much smaller than the rooms at The Millenium. Did you find a deal equal to the $189 travelzoo rate at the Millenium that I had previously suggested to you? I found my one stay at The W disappointing. I'm a frequent guest at The MB and definitely prefer it.

I did and it works...this was a great idea. Thanks! How did you find out about this because I went on travelzoo to read if there were any terms and conditions and I couldn't find it. I'm just waiting a bit to actually book my flight but the fares don't really seem to be changing much. :(

The travelzoo rate was posted quite a while back, but no longer appears at the travelzoo website. The rate is fully cancelable with no penalties up until 24 hours before arrival. I think that I pointed out that it is also for the upgraded, higher floor, superior rooms. If you have reserved a room with a king bed, upon check in, request a room ending in 01 (4901, 5001, etc) as these are the largest rooms and they are corner rooms with expansive windows meeting at the corner and overlooking Times Square and the city. I've had good luck requesting these rooms, although I have occasionally had to wait until later in the day for one to open up, but definitely worth the wait.
