New York, New York › Las Vegas

(TGA) - I have noticed that NY, NY is supposed to be a replica of the New York skyline. Does anyone know why the world trade centers were not included when the property was built? I am almost sure that NY NY was built in the mid ninties.

I'm going to guess they knew they could not include EVERY icon when they built the facade. The World Trade Center towers would have just been two "regular" tall towers. Maybe taller than they would have liked if they wanted to go to scale, and, at the time, not as "important" as they would be after 2001.
