(TGA) - any suggestions for closest and/or reasonable motel to the Oregon Country Fair site this year..?

The Oregon Country Fair is held in Veneta, quite a few miles west of Eugene. There is virtually no parking available and free shuttle buses run back and forth from Eugene. The fair is a daytime affair. The only ones there after dark are those who work or volunteer at the fair.
I would, therefore, suggest your best bet would be to stay in Eugene and take the bus out for the day you plan to enjoy the event. I'm not sure what sort of lodging you will find in the Elmira/Veneta area (perhaps some b&bs), but I can assure you there no such thing as "night life" there.
