Pick Me A Spot For Dinner Please › Oklahoma City

(TGA) - Travel - Wil be passing through OK City on a Saturday night in May and need a good dinner spot.
I'm a foodey so something unique with variety is essential, and since I'm traveling through the place will need to accept a reservation.
If you had just one choice of a place to have dinner in OK City where would it be??

Nonna's (http://www.nonnas.com/) is unique. So is Cafe do Brasil (www.cafedobrazilokc.com) and 1492 (urbanspoon.com/r/46/662690/restaurant/Midtow…).
Honestly, there are enough great places to eat in OKC that I can't choose just one. It would depend entirely on what type of food I was wanting at the time.

After considering your request for awhile, iIf you can give us a price range and an idea of your favorite food(s), we could possibly make a more targeted recommendation.

Modcon offers some good choices; I've eaten at all three. Of them, I would recommend 1492 first as it has the most unique menu with both traditional Tex-Mex dishes as well as a variety of other Latin American fare (great Cuban pork dishes). We've always had excellent service and great meals at 1492. Nonna's is good but, in my opinion, is way overpriced for the quality of the food. Cafe do Brasil offers excellent, authentic recipes, but they offer little variety for those who don't like Brazilian dishes and I'm not wild about the ambiance.
I'll add a couple of places with more variety on the menu. First, the Oklahoma City Art Museum has an excellent cafe with a wide variety of meals. Be warned, however, that it can be extremely busy right before an event at the Civic Center, so it's best to check the schedule or to dine earlier or later as 7:00 havoc gives way to 8:00 peace.

All of the above are near downtown. We also like Cheever's, which is a couple of miles north. A wide variety of "contemporary comfort foods" in a funky ambiance (it's a former flower shop) at very reasonable prices.

twoprofs,
Thanks for the Cheever's comment. I haven't eaten there and will give it a try next time I'm in the area.

Thanks for the suggestions!
Nonna's and Cheevers both sound very very good and their website menus are intriguing.
You asked about pricing and types of food. This is a special occasion so pricing is not too much an issue, though don't want anything that is off the charts expensive.
As far as types of food contemporary is good, things like Cheevers and Nonna's.
Any more suggestions are appreciated.
