(TGA) - Travel - It doesnt take all that long to drive from , NC to Dayton, OH, and the most entertaining element of this drive is the chance to drive through three tunnels in the mountains, as we trek north. The landscape between North Carolina and Ohio is beautiful, especially at this point of the year when the fall colors are really beginning to show their grace.
We downloaded some new music from iTunes for this drive, a Jack Johnson album, with a chill vibe that was the perfect soundtrack for this much needed break from regular life.
So we arrived in Dayton, ate at a brewery type burger joint, and then we headed downtown to meet up with Rob after his opening show. He took us to the coolest martini lounge I have ever been to! Rather than people a club with bumping and grinding, these cool dancer kids prefer the beatnik atmosphere of the martini lounge with a second level overflowing with deco plush armchairs, love seats and couches. I sipped my lemon drop with ease in this chill taculous establishment!
