(TGA) - Hello!
I have never been to New York before and we are flying out of JFK next week, leaving the 24th and returning the 30th. I'm not sure what the best way to get from Connecticut to JFK would be (we're from the New London area). I am willing to drive and do the park and fly option, but I was thinking about staying at a hotel friday night around JFK.
We're leaving Saturday morning and our flight takes off at 7am.
ANY help would be greatly appreciated because as of right now I am completely lost.
Thanks!!!

While waiting at JFK, I have seen a lot of limos with the markings Connecticut Limo. They were blue I believe... I would call one of the big hotels in New London and ask them for a list of who picks up there. The round trip will probably be less than parking for 6 days and you will not have the hassle of driving down 95.

Have you considered taking the ferry across to the North Fork of Long Island and taking the train to Jamaica where the JFK AirTrain connects the Long Island Rail Road with the terminals at JFK?
You can take Amtrak from New London to New York Penn and then take the Long Island Rail Road the other way (to Jamaica) and get the JFK AirTrain.
You might consider driving to New Haven and taking Metro North to Grand Central where there is an express bus to JFK Airport.
Connecticut Limo is also a good option.

We've taken CT Limo to JFK - a couple of hotels in our area are pickup spots- this may be the best option.
Check the CT Limo website.
