(TGA) - We will be vacationing in Orange Beach for two weeks in october and thought about taking route 45 and alt. 45 clear through Mississippi on the way home to Illinois. Can someone tell me the road conditions of Route 45 through Ms? It appears to be a pretty direct route to Illinois.

Pretty good road. It does go through some small towns and Tupelo, but it shouldn't slow you down much. Not a whole lot to look at.
