(TGA) - Is there anywhere in Norway you can visit Santa in his workshop?
I have heard some of the Finnish resorts are very crowded, and I seem to remember reading somewhere Norway had some beautiful Santa resorts.

Hi joopoo,
These are the places I know of where you can find Santa in Norway that at least is somewhat famous for it. Keep in mind that some of us do not believe in the Disney or Coca Cola version of Santa. We try to keep the Norwegian tradition of our own Julenissen, which can be described as the Christmas Elf.
In Drobak 35 km south of Oslo:

And in Savalen:

Savalen is not too far from Roros. When you get to Roros around x-mas time you (or during the winter in general) you will get the feeling of stepping into a perfect x-mas card.

Roros has a x-mas marked December 11th - 13th this year and they also have the famous Roros marked Februar 16th - 20th 2010.
