(TGA) - Travel - I am going to Republic of Macedonia in the summer for 3 days.
and the following is my plan.
1. arrive Skopje at noon from Sofia and spend the night there.
2. take a bus at 8 am to Ohrid and spend the night there.
3. take an early bus to Bitola, spend a few hours, then take the bus to Skopje in late afternoon.
4. sleep at Skopje and take bus to Sofia next morning/take an overnight bus to Sofia.
problem:
1. I need information about bus Ohrid -> Bitola and Bitola ->Skopje to see if it is possible for point 3.
2. I need information about bus from Skopje -> Sofia. I personally prefer to sleep at Skopje. But I can choose this only if there is an early bus to Sofia since it takes 5 hours to get there.
I cannot access the http://www.sas.com.mk/ .
I try it many times and it keeps on showing: "The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later."
Please help. Thank you

May I suggest change in your plan, so to safe you going back to Skopje?
why do not take bus from Bitola via Blagoevgrad to Sofia.
There is bus every day save Wenesday from Bitola to Sofia.
1) Ohrid -Bitola buses atleas 6 every day, during hing summer season up to 9 daly.
Return ticket will cost 420MKd denars,
One way is 250MKD denars.
First Ohrid-Bitola bus is at 5am last is at 9pm
for Sofia-Skopje-Sofia check

also you can check details on the time tables via
skopjeonline.com.mk/Default.aspx?mId=0&gId=1
But as I suggested why don't you travel from Bitola directly to Sofia omitting Skopje.
check this website for more first hand Bitola info.

Hi,
You can try to check the website of the bus station later as well for exact times, it is sometimes down like that.
However, the English version is not working well, so see what button you need to click on the English part and than check the Macedonian time-schedules...
I'm on the same website as the previous poster, you can check my information about Macedonia here: members.virtualtourist.com/m/6117e/25d/
Have a good time!
Dennis
