(TGA) - Travel - My husband and I are driving to NM from Chicago in Mid May and are looking for a clean quiet place to stay with a heated outdoor pool. I am a pool person and love the sun but i dont want to have to fight for a chair mid morning. Any ideas? We dont care if the location is out of the way. Thanks!!

If you are looking at Santa Fe, then there are very few outdoor pools and I doubt any are open until after Memorial Day. The weather will not be warm enough in mid May for hanging out at pools.
The best outdoor pool I've seen in New Mexico is at the Tamaya Resort in Bernaillo, north of Albuquerque.
If you want warm and pools....Tucson, Scottsdale or Vegas

If you'll be seeking hotels in Albuquerque, many have outdoor pools, but I don't know (without looking) how many are heated. The indoor, or indoor/outdoor combo pools are popular here. Albuquerque (generally speaking) is 5-10 degrees warmer than Santa Fe, or Taos.
Are you interested in a hotels, resorts, B&B;s or just a nice motel?
