(TGA) - Travel - Some friends of family and friends are planning their trips to SE Asia and have asked us a few questions regarding our own voyage. Though most inquirers have been pointed to this blog for info,we dont find it very useful in terms of practical travel hints and tips. Its free so no complaints will be accepted.- Highly recommended guide: the Lonely Planet Southeast Asia on a Shoestring.- For hotels: some of the LP recommended hotels really suck, check their ratings on Trip Advisor before booking. Trip Advisor is an excellent place to look for hotel recommendations ().- Internet access: available everywhere and dirt cheap.In VN, most mini-hotels have free wi-fi internet access but they also have free use of a PC in the lobby so dont bring a laptop if you dont have to.
