(TGA) - I have been advised to get 3 vaccination before visiting Lithuania,including Diptheria,Has anyone else been advised this by their doctor

I was in the Baltic states in September last year and was given no such advise.
where is this advice coming from,your own doctor.

Have a looks at this list ,they reccommend Diptheria vacinations for LONG TERM visitors and a few others are recommended but no statutory requirements are needed.
do however make sure you have your EHIC upto date before you travel.

Thanks for you reply.Yes I telephoned the surgery to check if My husbands Pneumococcal was up to date and the district nurse phoned back and said it was but we both had to have these three vaccination I think one was a Hepititus tt_please excuse my spelling)I think I will just cancel the appointment.No use putting anything in your body that is not essential.Thanks again
