very rarley use public transportation › New York City

(TGA) - i am coming from south jersey for a 4 hour meeting at 115 broadway

NY should i drive into the city or should i park in NJ and catch a shuttle

You should do neither.

The address you gave is the US Realty Trust building, on the south sidt of Zuccotti Park adjacent to the World Trade Center. You should therefore park at a train station along the North Jesey Coast or Northeast Corridor lines and take a train to Newark Penn Station. From there you can get the PATH train to the World Trade Center.

I hate sitting in traffic trying to get into the tunnels. The train is a much better option by far. GWB is going to hate me for saying this but now I find that when I have to get into the car I have something new to worry about, the traffic cops. As a pedestrian I am happy to see the traffic cops cracking down on people who block the box. As soon as I get into the car I become fearful of them. As a driver it is bad enough to contend with the traffic and the lack of parking but now I have to worry about getting a huge fine and points on my license because I'm stuck in traffic.

I walked home from work this evening and they were out there in full force and they're not a pleasant breed.

Anything you can do to avoid driving in Manhattan will be a bonus. You can park at Newark Penn Station (paid parking) and take the PATH train directly to your meeting across from the World Trade Center.

MoreFF, I will just ask you to consider what sort of breed you would be if you had to deal with NYC motorists day in and day out. People who do not insist on entering intersections that they cannot clear while the light is green have nothing to fear from block-the-box summonses. I did read a letter from a woman, though, who complained that she got two within 5 minutes of each other as she came crosstown, getting one at Lexington and a second immediately thereafter at Park. The only comment that anyone can make about that refusal to learn from experience is DUH!

As a pedestrian and a bus passenger I think it is great.

As a motorist it is just something else to worry about and be fearful of.

I'm not going to get into a debate about whether it is not a happy job and what the people they have to deal with are like. I can only imagine what they see and have to deal with.

For that is this week's city revenue producer it was just announced they are starting to crack down again.

Bilmin most traffic tickets goto the state. Maybe it is because Ihave a tauras with commercial plates but I found driving and parking in manhattan easier than parking in jersey City or Hoboken.

Mrjersey, I agree: Take the PATH train to WTC and walk 3 blocks.

You can use www.hopstop.com and www.maps.google.com to get maps and transit directions.
