(TGA) - Is it possible for a tourist to get from Vienna to Esterhaza Castle in Fertod, Hungary without a car? Even as an overnight trip?

Direct trains leave Vienna Südbahnhof (Ostbahn) - the remaining part of the now largely demolished south station - at 10:41, 13:41, 15:41, 17:41 and 19:41 and take one and a half hours. Check the English language page of Austrian Railways:
