(TGA) - We are visiting Rhode Island School of Design this weekend and will be staying in Hampton Inn & Suites. We are looking for good, funky, casual places for lunch and dinner, preferably where students are and places to visit, to shop, etc. Any ideas?

Head over to the East Side and up College Hill (Where RISD and Brown are) to Thayer Street lots of students, shops and restaurants.

South Main Street at bottom of hill from RISD has some nice shops, restaurants, as does Wickeden Street
