I will be on the Big Island, HI (Kona area) during the second week of March 11 for seven days. Can anyone tell me what their weather experience has been during that time? Thanks.

Snow, ice and blizzards! :):):) Our weather is the same year around, maybe five degrees difference between the Summer and Winter months. The temperature is cooler and there is more chance of rain as you head to higher elevations. You posted your question on the Waikoloa Forum. Waikoloa Beach Resort area is dry, Waikoloa Village is dry and windy.

March is often wet on the windward sides and in Waimea, but we're having an El Nino drought, so I wouldn't expect much rain this year. We can get big northwest swells affecting beach conditions any time in March- typically last a couple days.

It is not possible to give you ANY forcast. Nor the sea state... it changes day to day There is no way we can tell you other than say high 85 low 65, chance of scattered showere and heavy rain...Drought and flooding possible... snow and high winds possible.
