(TGA) - Im going to South Carolina for spring break in a few months and i need to know what things i should not miss out on because i want to make this trip worth every second of my time there. =)

A lot depends on the individual. The beach of course is number 1 and surely a concensus vote from the majority. After that it gets a little muddy. Many would say Broadway At The Beach but I detest the place. Same for Barefoot Landing or any shopping venue for that matter. As for entertainment there are many shows and clubs. Some of the many favorites would be Medieval Times, Dixie Stampede, House of Blues, Carolina Opry and Crystal Palace to name a few. There's also amusement parks, water parks, go kart tracks and what seems like a million minature golf locations. Golf is also popular with well in excess of 100 courses in the area from the simple par 3 to championship courses. Dining is another choice of individual taste. There are hundreds of dining establishments from chains to locally owned meat and threes. There are recreational opportunities as well as nature experiences to enjoy. In addition you can find fine art and other museums in the area. I would suggest using the links in the column on the left to do some research on the above subjects to come up with some ideas then come back and ask specific questions. Forget trying to do even a fraction of what the area has to offer in a weeks time- it's impossible!

If you're college-age and over 21, you'll probably enjoy the bars at Broadway at the Beach.
Also check out the House of Blues website to see who's playing during that time. HOB usually schedules some decent bands during spring break.

If you are coming for Spring Break in March, don't count on "beach weather" and don't expect a "Spring Break" atmosphere. It can still be cold and the ocean will most certainly be cold. If you are looking for "Spring" I would look further south that time of year.
