Do you go by train ?
So yes, the only city you can visit , which has a direct train connection to Germany , is Brussels. You can take from Dusseldorf a Regional train to Cologne . From there you can take the ICE or Thalys trains to Brussels south station .
Price of the RE + ICE train is from 19 euro / One way if you book in advance.
Price of the RE + Thalys is 19 euro / One way if you book in advance + RE ticket that you have to buy in the station .
Eg : Take the RE at 07.58 in Dusseldorf and arriving in Cologne at 08.29. From Cologne you take the ICE at 08.43 with arrival in Brussels at 10.35.
Eg : Take the RE at 06.58 in dusseldorf and arriving in Cologne at 07.29. From Cologne you take the Thalys at 07.44 and arriving at 09.32 in Brussels.

Thanks for your detailed suggestions but actually I plan to rent a car. Because of that, it is better for me to know the best place to visit rather than easy reachable one. If the Brussels is the best place to visit, maybe you can advise me restaurants, flea markets or etc.
