(TGA) - Our trip is booked but the more I look at it, the more I am second guessing myself. I thought I’d ask for your opinions. We’re flying from Raleigh to Salt Lake City on 8/21 and we’re driving to Idaho Falls to spend the night. Early next morning we’re heading to YNP 8/22-8/26 (we have 3 nights booked at Canyon Cabins and 2 nights in West Yellowstone). On the 27th we’re heading to Grand Tetons and will spend the night in Jackson. On 8/28 we’re heading back to SLC to fly home. Do you think we need to adjust anything? Thanks for your help

This sounds like a good time frame to me. Since you will be entering the park from the west anyway, about the only change that I would make would be to stay in West Yellowstone first, then move over to Canyon, then down to Jackson, and on back to SLC. That would make for a more continous route with less backtracking for lodging.
However, if you already have your lodging loocked in, then your plan will work. Exactly where and when isn't that important. As long as you are in Yellowstone it's all good ........ ;-)
Enjoy your experience!

I would do West Yellowstone then Canyon and on to Jackson Hole. Since you will be entering from the west that makes more sense to me. Enjoy your trip.
